I have looked at various different courses but found that the information found with Future MT was the most informative website that answered all of my questions and more. I now have a clearer understanding of what a MT actually does and am extremely interested. I am a mother of 3 and currently work out of the home on the computer for a company doing customer service and I would love to be able to remain working out of my home, but in this industry I could work the hours and days that I choose. I would really like to be able to schedule my own hours rather than being committed to a set schedule everyday that requires that I work every weekend. With children the added flexibility of such a schedule would allow me to attend certain events. I currently must give 30 days notice if I need to have a day off and sometimes that isnt always possible. I really enjoy the freedom of working from my home and the added benefits that come with such as savings in fuel, convenience. I enjoy being on the computer and consider myself a very good typist, but would really like to get out of the current industry that I am in being a Customer Service Representatve. My husband is a firefighter paramedic and also teaches EMT college courses on the side so I am somewhat familiar with medical terminology as I assist him with his power points for his class. I would love to be able to understand everything that I set up for his class preparations and sometimes his abbreviations for certain medical terms leaves me quite lost honestly! We would both eventually love the flexibility of having our own MT Business in the future and really like the flexibilty that it would provide us not only with working out of our home with the hours we choose, but also the flexibility of being able to do this career from anywhere we chose as well. The ability to move anywhere we choose and still be able to have income coming in would be fabulous. We also would like to start our own business and have others in our family that could benefit from such a venture and are very interested as well. I really like the idea of being able to take this course also while at home as I feel I will be able to complete it in a more timely manner as I have a lot of different times throughout the day that I could work on it . Right now I am in a postion that I really feel like I am stuck in because of financial obligations and to be able to take this course tuition free would be such a fabulous gift. I am considering resigning my current position so I could complete this course in a more timely manner and without the income from this position would make it much more difficult.
