So can we still trust this company? It is not like there is just one report where you can say well probably they purchased a faulty item there are multiple reports but it is not fair for stack on to be the only company under fire as they are not the only company that makes these kinds of items and the truth of the matter is that all lock boxes are easy to open. Your best bet if you have a gun is to get a real gun safe or if you cannot afford one and must use a lock box, you should install it where it is out of reach of little hands so they wont be messing around with it in the first place to see how easy it is to open it.
Another problem this poses is that if it is known that you have one of these devices in your home it could make you a target for thieves. I am sure there were many thieves who would probably just ignore a lock box if they saw it but now with all this publicity they will definitely try to get in like they have seen online. With all this publicity you may want to get another type of safe but does this all mean that you should totally write off Stack on as a reputable company one that can be trusted? Think about it... they have been in business for years and they have built a good and successful business over time. They must have been doing something right to get thus far and to stay open this long. So why not give them a chance to prove themselves by revamping their products to make them more secure and just blow us all out the ball park.
Stack on safes has been a name that has always stood for quality but now their good name is on the line due to the controversy caused by videos on the internet showing just how easy it is to get into a couple different models from their line of lock boxes.
