The seed storage range of products are designed to maintain specific temperature and relative humidity conditions such as medium temperature with low relative humidity for long term seed storage; medium temperature and high humidity for germination rooms controlled temperature and relative humidity with day/night light simulations; as well as clean space for tissue culture applications.

Seed storage Chamber is compact in design with a high capacity, providing a large usable area which maximizes efficiency whilst giving a minimal footprint size using less laboratory space.

Thses chambers are based on a modular platform. These seed storage rooms are custom sized for each application and are suitable for both long term and medium term collections. Long term seed storage conditions are typically set to minus 18 0C while medium term collections are stored at 4 0C and 30 to 50% RH. Dehumidification is provided using a chemical dehumidifier. Several different cooling methods are available while complete mechanical system redundancy is also available where required.

A convenient, adjustable temperature controller is accessed through the interior chamber. The interior is manufactured with a light when the door is open, allowing for a brighter working space. An optional interior reading dial thermometer is available to provide quick visual reference of the exact temperature.

The Seed Storage Chambers are basically enclosed spaces with a controlled environment, designed to maintain specific temperature and relative humidity conditions for short term or long term storage of seeds. Many models also come equipped with day/night light simulations and are used for tissue culture applications as well. They are available as single or dual chamber units, designed to fit in compact laboratory spaces while providing maximum space efficiency and also as larger walk-in chambers that can be custom sized according to specific applications. Most of the available models also allow complete customization of the design and storage parameters to ensure maximum efficiency and better control of the storage conditions.

The seed storage chambersare made up of high grade construction materials with uniform and non-corrosive external and internal surfaces and feature adequate lighting, covings and provisions for clean air supply.
