subject: Christmas Holiday-season Storage [print this page]

I absolutely love the Christmas Holiday Season. There are so many activities and events that occur in this special time of year. I take special care in the preparation of our house with lights, decorative candles and homemade goodies. We put lights on side of our house and decorate two living trees in the house along with several miniature trees. I also have two complete holiday village, which I attach. With all the Christmas decorations and dishware storage is a real problem. I've found over the years that the greater amount of time I put in the right Christmas-storage the better results I get.

We have an Attic area that is formed in our bedroom because of the steep roof of our litter. This area is about 30 feet long and 3 feet wide. We found that large plastic containers used for the storage of Christmas. The containers are used in a variety of shapes, sizes, and with different properties. The Attic area is very hot in summer and cold in winter, so the things that can not be provided, there will be affected by the heat. I've found that on some ornaments that have glitter and other decorations glued on them, the glue can be hard due to the temperature flows can.

For this reason, the Christmas-storage, I choose for the tree decorations, flat plastic boxes that can be slide under the bed in the guest rooms. For other things such as my village pieces press the temperatures they do not coincide. I try to keep as many of the original boxes and for each item. That really increases the space that I need for Christmas-storage, but it also increases the looks of things. Also, the boxes can be neatly deferred bert within the plastic container without worry of breaking.

I adorn truly stages. The villages and the exterior lights will be issued the day after Thanksgiving. If I weglege the Christmas storage, I assign one the boats, so that those who are first required in the front. Each container is labeled with the permanent scorekeeper clear regarding what is in it. I counted the container so when my husband puts away, he can classify them numerically, and I will have what I need first of next door.

Some stuff I have at the end of every season. The little lights that are placed on the tree, are very cheap and extensively to supply. Also, it seems that it takes hours to unravel the light bank every year. The little lights are not placed in the Christmas storage and will be given for events in the local school, and new ones are bought each year.

If you take the time to organize your holiday items and pack them carefully, decorations and collectibles will last for years. Because my real Christmas storage I have several things from my mother that my children will be omitted.
