As the summer winds down and cooler weather settles the Charleston air, there are plenty of things to do while looking for real estate in Charleston. Whether it's a jazz festival or food event, people of all ages will find a celebration that is fun, memorable, and entertaining.

Lowcountry Jazz Festival

For those jazz lovers out there, check out the 4th annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival from August 31st through September 2nd. The event will take place at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, which will welcome the Dream Tour, featuring Saxophonist David Sanborn and Pianist Brian Culbertson. The Low Country Jazz Festival starts at 7 p.m. starting Friday, August 31st, and tickets are $50-$60. Sippin Saturday

Every Saturday from March until November, Join the Irvin House Winery for their "Sippin Saturday" event. There will be plenty of local food, entertainment, and wine, and the event lasts from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tastings in the Firefly Vodka Distillery and Irvin House are only $6 to taste six out of 15 Firefly Vodka flavors and $4 to taste five wines. During both tastings, customers will receive complimentary glasses. After spending time at the Irvin House, take a look at Handsome Properties' real estate in Charleston, and you won't be disappointed!

Party for the Parks Event

The third annual Party for the Parks celebration will enliven Ashley Avenue with plenty of local food, live music, as well as silent and live auctions. The folk/ rock band called Coffee will kick off the event, and aerialist Lila will dance with her silks to the reggae sound of the Dubplates. After sunset, DJ Jerry Tiller and a laser show will heat up the dance floor. Enjoy the gorgeous view of real estate in Charleston while dancing the night away. Guests will enjoy food from local restaurants including: Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar, La Fourchette, Muse, Nick's Bar-B-Q, Oak Steakhouse, and Osteria La Bottiglia. Guests with a sweet tooth can enjoy delicious deserts from Charleston Cookie Company, Cupcake, Glazed Gourmet Doughnuts, and Paolo's Gelato Italiano, There will be a open bar, which features a specialty drink from 44 North Vodka. VIP guests get to enjoy private, lakeside bar with food provided by Magnolia, Blossom, and Cypress.
