ADMISSION PROCEDURE AND DURATION OF THE COURSE
The course of training in general Nursing midwifery extends over a period of three years.
The prospectus and applications forms can be obtained on request from the principal / Karuna School of Nursing on payment of Rs 200/- in cash / DD. The filled in application form should be submitted along with a registration of Rs 250/- by DD in favour of Help Line Society with other necessary documents.
The candidates must fill the application in their own handwriting and submit it to the following address.

SSC Certificate
Intermediate pass certificate, or its equivalent
Bona fide / Conduct certificate from the principal of the college last attended
Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
4 copies of recent passport size photographs
Original D. D of Rs. 250/- towards registration fee
It SC / ST / BC, caste certificate from MRI
A covering letter, in the candidates own handwriting with the list of Enclosures
You are also required to send addressed and sufficiently stamped envelop of size 9" x 6"
Note:
In completed forms will be rejected.
No original certificates should be sent along with application form.
All above certificates in original will be retained till completion of course and training period in case of selected candidates.
Receipt for application form does not imply acceptance of candidates for admission.
Eligibility
The minimum educational qualification required is intermediate pass or its equivalent with science subject.
The course is open to candidates of all castes & religions between the age group of 17 and 25 years.
The candidates should be single and process good health.
Candidates must have good proficiency in English & must be prepared to learn local languages including Telugu and Hindi.
Selection Procedure
Students will be selected as per merit in intermediate or its equivalent and eligible candidates will be intimated for entrance test and personal interview by post.
Course Outline and Medium of Instruction
The syllabus and general course outline will be followed as laid down by the Indian Nursing Council.
The medium of instruction will be in English
The course shall include instructions and also field experience delivered by experts in Nursing faculty, Clinical Instructors and Doctors.
During the training period, Students will be assigned hospital duties for their clinical experience in various departments such as; Medical, surgical, pediatrics, Maternity, operation theater, Psychiatric and other specialties community health nursing and family welfare also be a part course.
