Introduction to multiplication sample problems:

We can say about multiplication that it is used in place of repeated addition. Students should learn multiplication because with the help of multiplication we solve the problems easily. Here in this article we are providing some sample problems of multiplication which help the students in learning multiplication. Some of them are solved and some problems are given for students who can solve these problems.

Multiplication by three digit numbers:

Find 123 x 36

1 2 3

x 3 6

7 3 8----------- 6 x 123 36 = 30 + 6

+3 6 9 0-------- 30 x 123 We multiply 123 by 6 and 123 by 30 and add the products.

4 4 2 8

Find 101 x 9 x 231

Step 1 = Multiply the first number 101 by the second number 9. The product is 909.

Step 2 = Multiply the product 909 by the third number 231. The product is 209979

Therefore, 101x 9 x231 = 209979 Ans.
