subject: How Bmw Dealerships Can Impact The Lives Of The Youth [print this page]

When it comes to helping the youth, many businesses, politicians and local organizations believe that monetary donations are enough. This isn't to say that it isn't helpful. However, there are other more hands-on ways that local businesses can make a positive impact on the young people.

Take the local BMW dealerships, for instance. It's common knowledge that these establishments offer some of the best and most high quality vehicles in the country, which is why they have such a good reputation. So, everyone basically knows that they are capable of providing funds to the youth in the community that could help them in various ways. However, there are other things BMW dealerships could do that would probably make an even greater impact on the young people.

For instance, a few times a month or even once a month, they could offer a free mechanics class to high school students who are interested in that line of work. Some kids never get the opportunity to pursue their real dreams such as becoming a mechanic, because they don't have anyone to help push them in the right direction. By offering these classes, free of charge, the business would be helping to build futures for many high school students, who might have otherwise had no future. In order to get the ball rolling, the businesses could partners with some of the local mechanics in the area, who would be responsible for teaching the classes.

Another thing BMW dealerships can do to give back to the youth is start an educational program, where they give away one car a year to an exceptional high school student. It would be best if the business worked with schools in lower income neighborhoods, because many of those children or their parents don't have the wherewithal to afford a car, let alone a BMW. So, this would be a huge deal and a big help to them.

Now, of course the requirements for the program can't be a walk in the park. There are adults who will never be able to have one of these vehicles. So, the students should defiantly have to work for it. Although GPA should be a part of the requirement, it shouldn't hold the most weight. Students could also be required to write essays, get letters of recommendation along with a host of other things.

The aforementioned examples are just a few of the things BMW dealerships can do to help the youth in their community. These actions will let the young people know that the company truly cares about them and their future.
