With the aid of the naaru, benevolent energy beings who had resolved to combat the fallen titans nihilistic crusade, Velen gathered other like-minded eredar and narrowly escaped Argus. Forever after, these renegades would call themselves the draenei, or exiled ones.
Kiljaeden, who had admired Velen like a brother, was affronted by the draeneis flight from Argus and their careless abnegation of Sargeras offer. In retaliation, Kiljaeden led the Legions armies on a adamant following of the draenei throughout the cosmos. Eventually, Velen and his abandoned humans eluded their hunters and begin altar on a limited apple that they would name Draenor, or Exiles Refuge. Having been instructed by the naaru in the means of the Light, the draenei developed an amazing association on their new home and came to apperceive the shamanistic orc clans built-in to Draenor.
