Limuru: Those who love agriculture should make a point of visiting Limuru, a farm which produces tea and coffee for export, to get a feel for farm life. The plantations here are magnificent and aside from learning a thing or two about tea farming, great photographs can be taken in the lush green landscape.
National Museum: Many artifacts of this region will be found in this national museum located within the city. The floor is especially interesting as it has footprints that depict the evolution of human ancestors and is also home to a variety of fossils and birds.
