This has been a trend in the famous travel hotspot that the rates of the Holiday Rentals are increased by their respective owners just to earn some extra penny. I tried to speak to some of the owners and got very mixed kind of answers.
Owner of the High-fy Motels and Hotels, Mr Alec Watson told me, We have to hire extra work force to meet the demand of quality service during the busy holiday vacations. He further added, to maintain the image of better service provider and to pay the wages of the newly hired staff, we have to increase the holiday rental and the rates of our other services.
Mr Jhonson Harmer, MD of a reputed chain of Beach Side Hotels, told me that holidays are the best days to get the extra income and earn some good profit. So we, generally, increase the Holiday rentals and rates of meals during the Christmas and the Winter Vacation.
