The 2013 Giant Anthem X Advanced 29er 1 uses the first generation carbon Anthem 29er frame. The frame is hand crafted from Giants T-700 carbon fibre, the second stiffest on offer. Over the aluminium frame, the carbon fibre frame is 185 grams and offers a 7% increase in steering and 3% increase in pedalling stiffness. A Rock Shox suspension package is on offer with the Anthem X Advanced 29er 1. The Rock Shox SID 29 RL spear heads the package which features all the tuning options necessary to any trail; lockout, positive/negative air pressure adjustments, and rebound. Like all Rock Shox products its very user friendly with sag gradients imprinted on the stanchion tubes and air pressure guide sticker on the fork legs. The rear shock is the Monarch R which features similar adjustments.
