subject: One Rejection From A Woman Should Not Be That Big Of A Deal To You [print this page]

When you are searching for someone with whom you feel you can start a relationship with and you think that you have found that person, only to realize that they don't feel the same way that you do, it can be unnerving. That kind of rejection can be really hard to take in, and it can easily make you wonder about whether or not others are going to feel the same way. You don't want to allow yourself to mistakenly come to the conclusion that one rejection is automatically going to lead to others. If you do, you might not feel as though there is any incentive at all to try again.

Even when you have the looks, the personality, and the social skills to attract women, you are still going to have to deal with situations where you get rejected by a woman. You might wish that it didn't have to be that way or you might hope that one day you will be able to eliminate the possibility of getting rejected by a woman, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen to you. It probably will. What you can do is change the way that it makes you feel. If you do that, then you have a better chance of being able to soldier on, even when things don't look so good for you.

These are 3 suggestions that you might want to pay attention to if you are worried about rejection:

1. Think of it as being a situation that will motivate you to get even better at attracting women.

You might benefit from a situation where a woman you like turns you down for a date if you are able to see it as a situation that will motivate you to learn more about attraction and what you can do to make a woman like you back. That's not such a bad thing and it can help you to feel as though you will still be able to move on even when a woman you like turns you down. Using a scenario like this as a way to motivate yourself is just one way of turning a bad experience into a good one.

2. Hindsight can be a good thing, so look back and see if you can tell why it happened.

There are times when just taking a look back on why a woman turned you down can help you figure out how to make sure that it doesn't happen too often. You might look back and see that you came across a little bit too eager to get a date and that might have been a turn off. Next time, you will know that you have to find a way to turn down that desperation a little bit so that you don't end up giving off the impression that you are too eager to get a woman to say yes to dating you.

3. Always keep in mind that it was just one experience and one experience does not make a trend.

You wouldn't try to predict a trend in any another situation just one one experience, would you? Probably not and you know what? You shouldn't assume that because one woman happened to turn you down for a date that the next one will and so will the one after that. It was just one woman and it was just one experience. You might get rejected again, but you might also succeed with the next woman you ask out, so there isn't really that much that you can take from just one situation.
