Marketing mainly deals with the satisfaction of consumers as integrated marketing aims at generating the consumer satisfaction as the key to satisfying organizational goals. There can be different concepts for marketing such as: product concept, sales concept, commodity concept etc. Marketing plays a significant role in promoting the well being of all enterprises. Marketing helps in widening the market. It also increases the national income.

Marketing facilitates exchange in the ownership and possession of goods and services. Marketing provides gainful employment opportunities. It also stabilizes the economic condition of the country. And the most important thing is that it provides maximum satisfaction to the consumers. Marketing is made up of a number of activities known as marketing functions. These functions include buying, selling, transportation, storage, financing, risk taking, market information etc. As we know the importance of marketing, further we have to adopt different techniques in the marketing process. Some enterprises adopt banner printing for marketing. It results in an effective method of marketing. Every enterprise had a different management committee and the marketing techniques just depend upon the thinking of their members of management. Some use their logos while other use printing t-shirts for their advertisement and marketing.

There can be many different methods depending upon thinking ability of members of the enterprise. An enterprise for its marketing purposes can produce some corporate promotional items for attracting consumers which further results in the benefit of the enterprise. There are different techniques and methods of marketing research such as survey or questionnaire method, mail survey, telephone survey, observation method, experimental method etc. These different techniques have their different merits and demerits. In todays competitive world every enterprise had to compete with others at every step. Marketing is the main function performed by the enterprises which can create a huge gap between the enterprises. Now a days enterprise lays much emphasis on marketing issue as they clearly are aware of the fact that this is the one function which can make an enterprise a successful one. So they are even ready for the huge investment for the marketing. Marketing is not a small process or one time process. It is a continuous process which never ends. It just ends with the dissolution of the business enterprise. If an enterprise is investing hugely in marketing function then it must be effective otherwise it will be just wastage of money as well as time and will be of no use. In that case huge investment will inversely affect the business because their expenses will be much more. So an enterprise should look over its marketing function for the betterment of the enterprise as it is the soul of any enterprise.
