In addition he was the Director of Snowboarding for the Aspen Skiing Company for years, who are you going to trust to get you on the right set up, Kevin or the new kid at the shop down the street?
Ed Garland is a former Snowmass Ski School manager and has lived here in the beautiful ski town for 16 years. What does that ski school manager experience mean to you, several things, first customer service, Ed knows what it means to make sure the customer happy, second Ed knows skis, you dont get to become the manager of the Snowmass Ski School without knowing how to ski! For you this means Ed will be able to talk to you, listen and understand where you are with your skiing and which ski is right for you, that is the kind of service you should expect from a ski shop.
Completing the trio of locals who own and operate the combo that is Stapleton Ski Shop and Up Snowboards is Paul Williams. Paul is a 20-year local, who has taught both skiing and snowboarding for the past 18 years, was named by outside magazine as one of the top snowboard instructors in the nation, how about that for credibility. Paul toured with the Jeep World Outside Festival promoting skiing and snowboarding alongside a select group of athletes and musical stars. When not in Aspen he is living in Bariloche Argentina with his wife and two young boys.
