subject: Throw A Great Kiddie Party With Bean Bags In Sydney [print this page]

The key to a fun party for kids is creating an exciting vibe that comes from great games. Bean bags in Sydney are the perfect gaming props because they are safe and versatile for the little ones. A couple of activities you may enjoy are listed below:

Limbo Rock

1. You will need a beanbag, pole or stick, and some lively music before you start.

2. Select two participants to hold the opposite ends of the pole and ask the rest of the children to form a line behind it.

3. Once the music starts, the line of players take turns in walking under the pole while balancing a beanbag on top of their heads or on their chests. After the last person passes through, the limbo stick is lowered incrementally.

4. If a child touches the stick or drops the bean bag, he is considered out of the game.

5. Continue playing with the stick being lowered after each round until only one kid is left.

Musical Pass

1. This is a variation of the traditional musical chair game.

2. Ask the children to stand in a big circle while facing each other.

3. Play the music and offer a beanbag to one person inside the circle.

4. Let them pass the object around in a clockwise or counter-clockwise fashion.

5. As soon as the music stops, the one who ends up holding the item is brought out of the game.

6. Continue passing until only one child is left.

Crab Relay

1. Set up a playing field by drawing a line as the starting point then positioning two baskets ten steps away from it.

2. Gather at least two groups of five children and give each team five beanbags.

3. Let the first members from each group get themselves into a crab walk position by being on all fours with their bellies pointed toward the ceiling. Place one beanbag on their stomachs and tell them to make sure that they do not drop it.

4. Once you say go, ask them to crab walk towards the baskets, drop the beanbag, and return to the starting point to tag the next player. The next child does the same thing.

5. The team that drops all beanbags in the basket first wins.

There are many other exciting games you may come up with using a bean bag. It is a great tool for making kids move, bond, and interact with their friends. Just see to it that proper adult supervision is always provided.
