subject: Ore Hardness Has Effect On Grinding Mill Thruput [print this page]

The ore hardness reflects the mineral composition of the ore itself and the characteristics of the physical and mechanical properties. The ore with compact structure, small crystal, and great hardness ore is much more difficult to be ground. Therefore, in the grinding process, this type of ore requires longer grinding time to meet the requirements of the grinding fineness, but it has great effect on the processing power of the grinding machine. For the ore with small hardness, it is easy to be ground, and the unit volume processing capabilities of the grinding mill is higher.

The hardness of the ore is an immutable factor. In the producing process, we should take a positive attitude towards the ore with big hardness. Through experiments to find out the most appropriate operating conditions, such as the ore exhausting concentration, circulating load and so on. At the condition of stable granularity, reduce the ore granularity size as much as possible, and find out the best steel ball ratio.

In addition, in order to increase the thruput of the grinding mill, it is better to pay attention to the configuration of the grinding mill. First, the configuration of the grinding ball mill should remain adequate gradient, and set a good drainage and desilting system, to meet the requirements of environmental protection, and reduce the metal loss.

Second, because the workshop has large noise, the office, living room, and the automatic control room should be built in the place which is far away from the sound source, or takes appropriate insulation.

Third, the steel ball bin should be located near the maintenance venue, combining with the terrain and considering the convenience of transportation. In order to improve the ball cleaning condition, it is better to set up a waste ball bin at the repair site, so the loading outbound will be convenient and timely.
