Introduction to scientific definitions:
Introduction to scientific definitions:

The scientific definitions are the definitions of the physical terms, which come from the long scientific investigations and experiments. The scientific definitions are approved by the Society of the investigations and they are considered in the whole world.

Definitons of Scientific:

Here we discuss some of the scientific definitions of some of the physical terms.

(i) Dimensions: The dimensions of the physical quantities are defined as the powers to which the fundamental units of mass, length and time have to be raised to represent a derived unit of the quantity.

(ii) Significant figures: The significant figures in the measurement tell the number of digits in which we have confidence.

(iii) Velocity: It is defined as the ratio of the displacement to the time.

(iv) Vector quantities: The physical quantities, which are completely described by the magnitude and the direction, are called the vector quantities.

(v) Force : Force is the external push or pull which can change or tries to change the state of the body.

(vi) Inertia: The inherent property of the body which resists to change in the state of the body is called inertia.

(vii) Momentum: The measurement of the motion of the body is called inertia. It is equal to the product of the mass and the velocity of the body.

(viii) Electric current: If there are two current carrying wires are of infinite length held parallel to each other at a distance of 1 metre, and the current is same in direction and in magnitude, if they attracts each other by a force of 2 10-7 Newton, then the magnitude of current in both the wires is said to 1 Ampere.

(ix) Work: The work is said to be done by a body after applying a force, if the displacement in the body is in any direction except perpendicular to the applied force.

(x) Acceleration due to gravity: The acceleration due to gravity is defined as the constant acceleration produced in the body when it falls freely under the effect of gravity.

Conclusion for Scientiic Definitions:

The scientific definitions play a very importnat role in education as well as application. These definitions play the important role to define the term and the terms, which are related to these terms.
