We obtain the outputs of photogrammetry as maps, drawing, measurement, or a 3D model of some real-world object or even a scene. Many of the maps in use today are either made from photographs taken from aircrafts or the maps crested using photogrammetry. Though there are many methods to classify photogrammetry, a basic method is to divide the area based on the location of the camera used to take the photographs. Aerial Photogrammetry needs the camera to be mounted in an aircraft. Numerous overlapping photos of the ground are taken from the aircraft. The photos thus obtained are used in the automated processing for Digital Elevation Model (DEM) creation.
Through the application of aerial triangulation in aerial photogrammetry, we can make an assessment of 3-dimensional coordinates for elements on almost any object. Some points with known position which can be seen in the photographs are required. These are called ground control points which need to be an important factor in aerial triangulation.
