subject: Importance Of The Hair Oil In The Hair Life Cycle [print this page]

The natural life cycle of the hair is known as the stages which every person has to go through to keep the hair healthy and beautiful. The hair life cycle is commonly divided into three different stages and each of the hair needs to go through all of the different stages. The growth phase is known as the first stage when the hair fibers are created and emerge from the follicles. This stage is also known as the anagen stage. The anagen stage continues for around two to seven years and it also decides how long the hair can be. The longer period of time the hair remains at the anagen stage, the longer time it gets to grow up.

The catagen stage is the next stage of the hair life cycle. In this stage, the growth of the hair stops. As a result, this stage is counted on as the breakdown point of the hairs. This stage continues for the time period of 2 or 3 weeks. The next and the last stage of the hair life cycle is the telogen stage. It is also known as the resting period of the hair and it continues upto 3 to 4 months. Here at this stage, no new hair gets created but some amount of hair waits to fall off. Later these hair strands are either pushed out or shed of the hair follicle at the starting of next anagen period.

Understanding all these phases of the hair life cycle can offer anyone a great scope to understand the hairs in a better way as well as the chance to prevent the hair loss problem. Hair loss is known as one of the most usual problems faced by the majority of the people. This problem can also result in partial baldness.
