subject: Adult Vacations: Packing For Your Trip [print this page]

When you plan a trip away with the family, you know what to bring. Sunscreen for the kids, MP3 players and entertainment so they don't get bored, etc. It might not be boring, exactly, but it isn't exactly wild, either. Packing for adult vacations is a whole different story. These destination, which often take the form of cruises, offer those of age a chance to get away from the rules and restrictions of everyday life and even take a break from social norms. Nudity is more the rule than the exception on these trips. If you're ready to get wild, here's what you should remember to pack.

Lingerie

Well, it should be obvious, but don't forget to pack something sexy to wear. In fact, depending on what type of cruise you're heading out on, you may need little more than sexy outfits and bathing suits. Of course, it never hurts to be prepared, so make sure you pack at least one "normal" outfit. Maybe more than one. But don't forget the lingerie!

Oils

If you've never experienced what it's like to play around with massage oils with a partner you're interested in, you don't know what you're missing. This is not the time to be shy. Adult vacations are all about loosening your inhibitions and maybe even your morals. Bring oils, toys, and anything else that will help you put "normal you" on the backburner for a few days. This is your chance to explore your wild side.

Condoms

Okay, exploring your wild side is one thing, but you shouldn't forget to be safe while you do it. Having unprotected sex outside of a monogamous relationship is never a bright idea and it can have serious consequences. You don't need a list of all the things that can happen when you don't use condoms, but you might want to make one just as a reminder. You want to make memories that can last a lifetime, but that doesn't mean you want to bring home a souvenir you didn't pay for.

Personal Comforts

You should bring the stuff you need to amplify your sex life, but you should also bring some things that will let you simply sit alone in your room and recharge if you need to. More than one cruise guest has realized after a day or two that adult vacations weren't really their thing after all. This could be you, so make sure you have a backup plan. Bring some books, electronics, and other personal comforts that will keep you from going stir crazy.
