Its recent launch VESPA is a perfect example for the same. This 125cc motorbike is a flawless blend of style and comfort. The new Vespa is equipped with 125cc, four stroke, 3-valve single cylinder air-cooled motor that delivers 10.06PS of power @ 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque @ 6,000rpm. And while earlier models had manual transmission, the scooter will be mated with a CVT. It weighs 114kgs with a fuel tank capacity of 8.0 litres.

Piaggio encompasses seven brands of scooters, motorcycles and compact commercial vehicles. They are the fourth largest producer of scooters and motorcycles in the world. They have the capability to produce 600,000 vehicles annually, with five research and development centers and have more than 6,700 employees and operations in over 50 countries. It was founded by Rinaldo Piaggio in 1884 and started producing locomotives and railway carriages. They have also produced aircraft during World War I and bomber aircraft durin world war II. Later on they decided to leave the aeronautical field and generated an idea of designing an inexpensive vehicle to carry a passenger and easy to drive for both men and women.

The Vespa was launched as the world's first scooter in 1946. It went on to achieve sales of more than 17 million units in 100 countries. In 1986, Vespa launched a geared scooter in India in in partnership with LML but later on in 90's the LML-Piaggio broke up and Vespa was discontinued.The LX 125cc Vespa has become a style icon in the eyes of the youth in no time. It has became known for its robust design and powerful engines. With the sharp and crisp rear end, intend to give a decent classy look to the two wheeler.
