This easy-to-use xDSL tester, model A0010005, features a handheld design with strap and operates under Windows CE operating system. It tests xDSL physical layer parameters and confirms whether a line is suitable for xDSL service. The xDSL tester evaluates line quality, performs PPPoE dial-up, provides Web page browsing and emulates a PC+ Modem in order to test the connection to the ISP. It conducts Ping, IPconfig, Route and Tracert tests.
This high performance handheld xDSL tester also performs LAN tests including net-card property, PPPOE dial, Web browsing, fixative IP scanning, FTP Client and Web page speed test. DMM tests include loop resistance, capacitance, insulation resistance and voltage. It also emulates a computer to test broadband IP lines or initiate PPPoE dial-up to test IP network connection and troubleshoot modem or computer problems. It provides a maximum test distance of up to 6.5 km and has a large memory capacity of 20 M to save ADSL test records and other data which is transferable through the USB port and LAN.
