2) Make those phone calls even when you may not feel like it.
Communicating with one another through text messages or through e-mails may be better than nothing at all, however, nothing soothes your soul like hearing the voice of your boyfriend on the other end of a phone call. So, even if there are times when you really don't feel like picking up the phone and calling him, do it anyway. That small gesture might be enough to make his day and make your bond with him feel that much stronger.
3) Send him "thinking of you" gifts every now and again.
These can be just little tokens that you pick up, but sending them to him is just another way to show that you are thinking about him and that is always going to go over well. What it all comes down to is that you want your boyfriend to know that even if you are far apart, he is still on your mind.
