Days passed and my flight finally landed in Mumbai. After negotiating with the taxi drivers, I finally took a taxi to Navi Mumbai; where the hotel was located. Upon entering the lobby area, I saw a huge area beautifully done in orange and blue hues. The hotel was absolutely different from the picture, I had about budget hotels in my mind and this made me jump out in excitement. After completing all the formalities quickly, I entered my room.
To my surprise, the room was quite spacious and absolutely clean. After settling down in the room, I went to the restaurant to have lunch. The food was delicious and I can say that it is one of the best restaurants in Navi Mumbai. Since the hotel is located in the middle of city, it was easier for me to travel to different places to shoot my documentary. The staff at the hotel was quite friendly and told me about many places, which I could not find anywhere on the Internet. Truly, the information you get from local people in a foreign land simply makes your journey wonderful.
During my one month long stay, I utilized almost every facility provided by Pallavi Hotel. The activity room in the hotel is one thing I would miss the most. The hotel also had a health club where I exercised almost daily during my stay. All in all, I enjoyed a luxurious stay at this budget hotel in Navi Mumbai.
