subject: Are You Ready To Take On The Challenge Of Team Building Activities By Freshtracks? [print this page] Are you ready and prepared for the challenges of the organised team building activities by Freshtracks? It has often been said that the work team that plays together works well together. That doesnt mean that you have to spend much of your leisure time with your work colleagues, but it does help to bond and learn a little about each other outside of work.
The varied, fun and sometimes achingly funny but always challenging team building activities by Freshtracksare all designed to get the work team pulling in the same direction and REALLY working together as a team. This means understanding more about their colleagues, what makes each one tick and how to draw upon each others strengths. Importantly, it is also about understanding each others weaknesses (we all have them) and supporting each other as and when required.
Sometimes a team working together may be on top of their game (as a team) but what about the morale of the team, and more importantly what about the desires and aspirations of each team member. Work takes up almost a third of our lives and as such is a big factor in our happiness (or unhappiness) in life.
Taking your workforce out of the working environment and introducing them to each other in a controlled but non work environment means they will get to know each other more on a personal than professional level. Team activities such as the Chocolate Challenge or the equally challenging Toy Factory will bring your people together in a task which to most (if not all) is completely alien to them. Another challenge called Lights, Camera, Action will have them making a short promotional film with professional equipment, even making their own story board.
They will have to use their communication and personal skills, as well as their organizational skills together and individually to bring each challenge to a successful conclusion. Under the watchful eye of their professional guides they will be mentored and assisted (where necessary) to get the challenge completed successfully.
All teams are different and come from different working and social backgrounds. Each team will also contain individuals with varying skill sets and personalities, all of which will have to be thrown into the task challenge mix. In every case the winning team is the team where personal skills and character traits are successfully interlinked and where they complement each other for the common good.
