subject: Walmart Stripes Out Kindle Competition Turns [print this page]

Kindle is one of the e-book readers that have the best selling market. The consumers have turned up to Amazon for the best selling e-book reader. It is not because it has the back from the biggest online market retailer, but that it is good in features.

The Apple Inc may have been the market leader for the past coupe, of years in the tablet market, but when Kindle arrived with its many accessories, Kindle covers and stuff, the market for the tablets for Apple went down. The device is cheaper than an iPad, and has all the extended features apart from typical iPad features as well.

However, WalMart is stripping off the kindle from its stores. Now why would that be? This is the only jealousy factor that differentiates the one competitor form the other. The WalMart stores online have also the best varieties and the best deals in the products the store sells. It is the worlds one of the top most retailers like Amazon and this is just because of proving its worth, that the brand has made that decision last month. The other stores like Staples and Office Depot etc. will keep on selling the device but not the name.

It is a long shot, but the managers at the company say that when they will display the option of Kindle in their stores. This boosts the idea of buying something from Amazon, so keep the market on track, and not lose customers, the company had to make this decision.

One of the managers at the jelly book, a retailer online for e-books, says that this may have an effect on eh sales of WalMart, but still, for better long-term results, just has to take this step. However, this is also going to influence the overall sales for Amazon. Those who have loyalty to kindle will leave WalMart and shift to Amazon retail store. How many devices and products, just for the sake of competition will WalMart have to cut off, to keep its customers on track?

To still be a good customer for WalMart, it is necessary that one finds each product he/she previously bought from WalMart. If this is not the case, the overall consumer ship will go down gradually and the giant may fall. While I may not be a good marketing expert like professionals in WalMart, I will still not suggest this as a good job done by WalMart.
