Any one of any age can experience this attack. Usually anxiety attack rates are found to be higher in the age group between 17 to 25 years. Reports shows that panic attacks are developed more in women than men.
Symptoms
Most common symptoms of panic attacks are irresistible panic, loss of control, hot or cold flashes, chest pain, sweating, numbness, dizziness, rapid heart rates, nausea etc.
Treatment
Anxiety attack can be cured completely with the help of a qualified and experienced counselor. Treat it as early as you can to avoid further complications in future. Medication and psychotherapy are the most common treatment methods recommended by therapists. There are natural treatments too.
One can also practice some self treatments. Practicing some relaxation techniques will be very useful. Maintain a healthy diet. Avoid the use of alcohol and nicotine as they can increase the anxiety level. Try to get enough sleep everyday. Choose the treatment method that you find comfortable and cooperate it with the treatment strategy for quick and complete cure.
