The melted wax is obviously hot and it can cause skin burns. As the wax melts, it will liquefy at high temperatures but it is important that it must be monitored carefully because it can produce highly flammable vapors. To make molded candles, you should cut the wick as tall as you want it the candle to be, and then thread it to hole and plug the outside of the hole with putty. Place a similar item over the top of the mold and tie it to the top of the wick. When it reached the right temperature, slowly put the wax into the mold.
