Kemet Tours representative will pick you up from Alexandria Port .You will find him next to the exit door of the cruise holding a sign with your name. . Enjoy a private shore excursion and a day tour from Alexandria to Cairo. It will be about 3 hours driving in a luxurious A/C van accompanied by a private tour guide. On the way to Cairo you will pass by Cairo-Alexandria highway about 220 k.m long that is where you will see many farms and factories along the way and you will have the choice to stop in order to have rest in the mid way .Upon arriving Cairo you will go to visit the Pyramids of Giza. At the Giza plateau you will not only see the great pyramid of Khufu" Cheops" but also the pyramid of Chefren ,the pyramid of Mykerinus ,the valley temple of Khefren and The Sphinx .The area would date back to almost 5000 years ago. There is an additional visit to the Solar Boat (extra ticket on spot). Lunch included during the tour in a very nice local restaurant. Move to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex .In Sakkara area you will visit the first pyramid ever built in Egypt; the step pyramid of King Zoser which was built by the genius engineer Imhotep. Moreover; you will see one of the magnificent Mastabas (burial chamber) of either Ptah Hotep,Kagemni or Mereruca.

Day 02: Egyptian Museum / Salah Din Citadel / Khan El Khalil Bazaar
After the breakfast at hotel, transferred to the Egyptian museum which houses around 150000 artifacts and you will enjoy the treasures of the boy-king Tut ankh Amun. You will then continue to visit Salah El Din Citadel which was built around 1183 A.D. The Citadel has many old building among them is the most beautiful mosque in Egypt and also it has Al Gowhara palace built by Mamluks and Ottmanian. .If there is enough time we will give you the chance to wonder in the oldest bazaar in the middle east which dates back to 1382 A.D, it is called Khan El Khalili Bazaar ,where you will experience the atmosphere of living in Islamic Cairo hundreds of years ago as you will see plenty of mosques, lots of narrow streets, alleys and some old fashion coffee shops, and many bazaars .At the end of the day you will be transferred to to Alexandria. Back to your Cruise for the final departure.
