This webinar seeks to give participants an understanding of how to look at CRM the way it should be as a strategy rather than as a technology.

Most organizations, either willingly or unwittingly, have a tendency for looking at CRM as a technology instead of as a system. Many dont realize that technology merely permeates CRM and is supplemental to it, and is not a technology in itself. This webinar will seek to clear the air about this misunderstanding. It will seek to drive home the point that implementation of CRM strategy is not just about buying a license for its software. It requires re-engineering of the business around identifying and meeting the needs of their customers more effectively than their competitors. Thus, CRM is a system in itself.

Being a system, it should ingest changes that take place in the organization and help the management move on accordingly. This webinar will present in a vivid manner why Information Quality Management needs to be understood as a Change Management initiative and not as a project. It will also get participants to focus on System as being a fundamental concept in Quality Management and what it means for Information Quality in terms of Process, Governance, Resourcing and Skills.

This session will then seek to answer these questions about the fundamentals of Change Management:

oWhat makes a successful change?

oWhat are the common pitfalls?

oHow do ideas take hold in the organization?

In the course of this, it will discuss points such as managing Change and Transition in Information Quality; Relating Change and Transition to Information Quality Practitioner methods; doing it with data, but achieving it with Narrative; "Mission Accomplished" and other myths of Information Quality Change; the role of training and skills development in Information Quality change, and what an Information Quality leader needs to understand and plan for.

By whom:

Daragh O Brien is the founder and Managing Director of Castlebridge Associates. He has a degree in Business & Legal Studies from University College Dublin, and is a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society. He has developed and taught courses in Information Quality Management and Data Protection for a number of organizations in Ireland and has provided consulting services across industries as diverse as Health Care, Telecommunications, and Financial Services.

Prior to founding Castlebridge Associates; Daragh worked for over a decade for a leading Irish Telecommunications company in roles as diverse as Call Centre operations, Single View of Customer Programme management, and Regulatory Compliance and Governance. Daragh is a regular presenter and trainer at conferences in the UK and worldwide. Apart from his consulting and education work, Daragh is also an active member of the International Association for Information & Data Quality.
