Rene D. Petrin is a mentoring expert who founded and owns Management Mentors, Inc. He founded his company after over 12 years in the HR industry led him to the belief that organizations were not doing what they needed to do develop and retain their best resource their people. Keeping this in mind; Rene decided to establish an organization that would create an organization devoted solely to teaching businesses how to mentor talent.

The main aim of his organization is to show companies how structured business mentoring programs are the most powerful and effective strategy for professional development within an organization. In helping organizations achieve this, Rene has developed a few unique, highly effective mentoring tools. These tools and techniques emphasize the interpersonal dynamics in mentoring, even as they set high standards of excellence to help the mentoring profession maintain its integrity and promise.

Rene earned a masters degree in consulting and counseling psychology from Harvard University and a bachelors degree in health administration and planning from the University of New Hampshire. His specialties include mentoring consulting, business mentoring, career development, leadership development, situational mentoring, group mentoring, open mentoring and managed programs.
