It has a large covering and tends to be heavy. These types of headphones can produce the bass sound easily. But obviously everyone can see if you are wearing them. Using them at work is definitely out of the question. But if you are a disk jockey, thee large bass headphones would be great unless you prefer the subtlety of those tiny earbud headphones.
