subject: Why Does A Married Guy Cheat On His Wife [print this page]

Indiscretion may not be spur of the moment for most men. But occasionally the factors go deeper than just their libido getting the better of them. Reasons can be varied. Here are some of the explanations why men cheat.

The ego was swelling up. A man may have been on top of the globe as the king of his partner in the beginning of the marriage. But her standpoint might have shifted. Once the true personality traits are out, the man might think it unfeasible to impress his spouse who knows him within out. Because he wants to be adored again, he cheats. The choice to go for a temporary partner or a long-term affair may have been solidified by his need to feel like hes impressing someone again. A man just wants to feel attractive. Therefore, a lady expressing attention poses an irresistible allure.

Sex could be the primary reason why some married men cheat. He wants more physicality in the marriage. Need for sex may have been the culprit for the cheating. If a guy is especially fascinated with variety, unfaithfulness is uncontrollable when the temptation is nearby. It's not only the sex that must be varied, but the lady he's with. Some men get tired of one female and the sex linked with that female. Some men may feel the need for diversity more than others.

The man and his wife are not on the same page any longer. Perhaps the man is not growing as quickly as the girl. Perhaps the man and the woman have an interest in different things already. The trend is that the lady is displeased and the guy may feel it. The guy may also be realizing just how little he has in common with his spouse. A new woman could have caught his eye and hes more emotionally linked. This new woman may share his passion for a unique hobby. It wouldn't take long before the guy will start thinking whether they're also good in bed.

The tension of fighting might be too much. The marriage becomes interconnected with anxiety. Men will feel pressured into a job they may not want to be in. For instance, being the breadwinner in the household may turn out to be a source of pressure. If a man feels that he is handling excessive drama in a marriage, he may cheat. His over-critical partner may be causing the anxiety.

Having too much free time. Some men depend on wives to be the emotional backbone in the household, but this laissez-faire outlook could have the opposite effect. Because he doesn't have sufficient responsibility, he winds up bored and eager to find pursuits of his own. Once a man becomes secure that his family goes well, he may want to see to his other needs, which could comprise the necessity for variety.
