subject: Low Income Mothers And Women Are Eligible To Receive $10,000 From Obama's Scholarship Program [print this page]

In what seems as the first major move by President Obama concerning the improvement of educational status in the country, the Federal Pell grant limit has been raised by more than $1000. What this means is that the financially challenged students and mothers would now get an annual grant of $5100 instead of $4050.

This move comes right on the heels of the announcement of American Opportunity Tax Credit program that exempts the amount of first $4000 from any taxes, when it's used towards education. In total, with the launch of his Scholarship for Mothers program (an overall combination of American Opportunity Tax Credit program, Federal Pell grant and other student scholarships in effect), President Obama has definitely made his ideas clear about getting American mothers back to school.

Obama had promised to bring about changes to reform the country from the ground level. Now, he's doing just that by helping out perhaps the most underprivileged segment of society - mothers. Just around 6 months back, most American mothers would have failed to imagine that they could get such a good opportunity to finish their education and achieve their dreams. But this is what it is and it's all happening right now.

So, if you are a single mother, who has always dreamed of a college degree now is your time to convert that dream into reality. All that is required is to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form and then wait for the scholarship news.
