Moreover, it can also be paired with temperature indicators to monitor and control the temperature level for the process.

Drum Scale Indicator

This type of liquid level indicator is best for remote areas, where there is limited or no electricity, because they need no electricity to provide continuous indication of liquid level in storage tanks and vessels. Drum scale liquid level indicator is considered best for quick and periodic measurements with an accuracy level of 1mm.

Magnetic Level Indicators

Magnetic level indicators are one of the most accurate and high performance instruments for level indications. They are manufactured in different materials, also including plastic and are of many different sizes, as per various standards of the industry. These level indicators are paired with a variety of other level transmitters, switches, flapper, and capsule indicators to increase their functionalities, applications and uses.

Ultrasonic Level Indicators

Ultrasonic level indicators are the most advance type of liquid level indicator, which gives accurate measurements and are used in a number of different applications. Such as, these level indicators are used to configure the position of fishes and scuba divers under sea water. They are used to indicate the level and depth of sub-marines under water. Moreover, ultrasonic level indicators are being widely used in petrochemical plants, because of their health-friendly and simple usage. As they dont require contact with the object to obtain liquid level measurements, they are considered the most friendly to use in chemical plants, where there is a huge need of monitoring and controlling the level of corrosive and explosive acids, liquid gases and other poisonous chemicals.

Radar/Microwaves Level Indicators

This type of liquid level indicator may be considered the most accurate of all, but its operation is highly dangerous and requires a well-trained staff with license to use this type of method. Even in case of extreme temperature and pressure fluctuations, microwave level indicators give the efficient result. The only drawback of this method is that it requires a lot of time for its setup, and the setup can be very weary and tiresome, and any change in the environment during its setup can cause problems.
