You would be like a butterfly, you hide away in your cocoon, then come out and look better. Things like facelifts would take weeks and weeks to recover from, tummy tucks were the same.
Well now we have cosmetic surgery procedures which you can have done and you will recover quickly and get back to your usual lifestyle and activities very rapidly.
For example we can do full face fractional laser skin resurfacing and it takes about a day of downtime. We can do liposuction and it only takes a day or 2 downtime - most people will get it done on a Thursday or Friday and be back at work on the Monday or Tuesday.
But what is more important is that cosmetic surgery has got safer, better and much more predictable, and in the right qualified hands it is a wonderful procedure these days.
