All of our memorable moments and special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, New Year celebrations and corporate events play an important role in our life. We want to celebrate all such occasions with fun and entertainment and live them to their fullest. It is nothing but a perfect amalgamation of light, sound and colors. Using fireworks on various cultural and religious occasions is a good idea to celebrate them in a style. We cant expect celebrating of different occasions in the absence of fireworks. A rhythm of colorful lights and noise brings immense joy and happiness in the eyes of onlookers. Fireworks can be used for individual as well as commercial displays but safety and security is the major concern.

Ground fireworks and aerial fireworks are two categories of fireworks that are used to exhibit the light and color show on various occasions. Every firework is made of paper tube filled with combustible materials. When compared with aerial fireworks, ground fireworks are found less popular because aerial fireworks are able to create a stunning show. There are different chemicals that used in fireworks to produce flames, color and sparks. Some of the chemicals are aluminum, barium, carbon, calcium, copper, chlorine, iron, potassium, sodium, lithium, oxygen, sulfur, antimony, zinc, titanium, strontium and rubidium. The color of fireworks depends upon the use of color-producing compounds in them so that different colored flames can be produced. Red, orange, white, green, blue, indigo, violet, gold and white are some of the colors that make a firework look attractive and eye-catching when it is exploded. It is a pyrotechnic star that is responsible for producing colors in fireworks. Fuel, oxidizer, color-binding chemicals, binder and chlorine binder are the commonly used ingredients that help a firework induce intense light during ignition.

Fireworks are also responsible for polluting the environment as they produce smoke and dust having residues of heavy metals, sulfur-coal compounds and toxic chemicals. Fireworks can also cause serious health threats and hazards to people. So, it becomes necessary that you use fireworks up to a permissible limit. Risk of wounds and burns are common in firework accidents. Both bystanders and operator of fireworks can get serious injuries if they do not follow the safety rules and regulations in an effective manner. If not taken or handled seriously, fireworks can cause severe loss to both human life and property.
