On the day, we got a clear idea about the fast moving consumer durables (FMCD) market. The session gave us an overview of the FMCD market and how it has immerged as one of the most important and fast growing sectors in our economy.
We came to know important facts about the sector. In India, the sector, is experiencing a growth of 30 per cent to 35 per cent in the sales of air conditioner, mobiles, and other electronic products. The corporate speakers shared an interesting fact about the eastern region in India, which is experiencing the highest amount of growth rate.
We also came to know how showcasing products play a pivotal role in the marketing sector. The guest shared few stories in which they shared what were the problems they had faced throughout and how they had overcome the challenges and achieved a sustainable position in the market. The Saturday afternoon was very special to us. We learnt a lot of things as the corporate guests shared their experience with us.
These sessions are real eye openers for us and help us evolve with every passing day.
