Delhi, the capital of India, is situated in the northern part of the country. Delhi has a rich culture and overwhelming history. Connaught Place is the nerve centre of the capital.

Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka that showcases diverse culture and tradition and the people of this city are very hospitable in nature. Bangalore is also called the Garden City as the city consists of a lot of gardens and parks. The climate of the city is very moderate throughout the year. Moreover, this city is home to a lot of educational institutions, central government establishments and scientific and research institutes. Bangalore is a rapid growing city. Bangalore has introduced the rapid transit system, Namma Metro. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses are comfortable as well as affordable.

Delhi can be reached easily by flight, rail and by road. Low economy flights like Kingfisher, JetLite, Spice Jet and Indigo connect Bangalore to Delhi at an affordable rate. New Delhi International Airport is situated around 35 km from the city. Pre paid taxis and Cabs are available for Rs. 450/- from the airport to the city.

Frequent trains like superfast and express connect the two railway stations in Bangalore to three railway stations in Delhi. The time taken from Bangalore to Delhi is around 33 hours to 40 hours depending upon the speed of the trains.

Cabs are also a comfortable option for travelling. Taxis charge Rs. 38,600/- to reach Delhi from Bangalore. Indica type cabs can accommodate four persons. To accommodate seven people Tavera can be used and it costs around Rs. 53,100/- per trip.

If you have your own vehicle it takes approximately 31 hours to cover 2229 km from Bangalore to Delhi. Though tiring, it is adventurous as well.
