subject: Places To Go When In Spain [print this page] There's so a lot to do in Spain and it's a location that almost anybody can enjoy. Whether or not you have decided to travel here to Spain to watch a football match or to take in some of the incredible views it really doesn't matter you'll have the time of your life. A few of the friends that I've travelled with to Spain are all truly into the clubbing scene and have discovered many nightclubs which are open all night long and do not close till the early hours. To be truthful though, I also like a laid back holiday and to view a few of the local culture. I adore eating out in Spain and it has some great food to provide its visitors. The architecture also is incredible and something you will not see anywhere else.
What a great deal there is to do in Madrid!
This was such an excellent city for a lot of reasons. I loved watching the flamenco dancers at many from the tablao, drinking vermouth from the tap at using the tapas at Bodegas Ricia and going up the Teleferico Madrid Cable car to see the most amazing view over the whole city. If you are into clubbing and wish to let your hair down then Madrid has got what you are looking for. I indulged my love of football with a trip towards the Estadio Santiago Bernabu. I didn't meet any from the players unfortunately but it was an explosive match.
Barcelona is an doly amazing place! I had wanted to go to Barcelona for such a lengthy time and watch the FC Barcelona group play. The fans are a few of the greatest I've ever observed and as a single traveller I was welcomed with open arms. The environment in Barcelona is secure and friendly. The next day I've visited La Rambla to view the street performance on among the most well-known streets there that's in the world.
The beautiful island of Majorca
I didn't know what to expect from Majorca apart from sun, sea and sand. What I didn't expect was all the activities such as canyoning, kayaking, segway tours, mountain biking, trekking and plenty of culture! As I didn't wish to do any of that, I just decided to get a book and go down towards the beach. A couple of beers and tapas at a beach side bar and I'd already been invited to a party from the locals. The individuals are so friendly here, I wish I could remain on a while longer.
Mueseum heaven in Malage
As the birth place of Picasso you won't be surprised to discover that there is a great deal of interest in his life right here. The open topped bus tour of Malaga was a genuine eye opener into what Malaga has to provide, there are a lot of museums too. Unfortunately I didn't strategy much time in Malaga I didn't have sufficient time to appear around the Muelle Uno Waterside complex to see the fancy shops and to take in a few of the local food and entertainment. I would adore to stay longer in Malaga to try more from the local food and seek out more museums. In future when I return to Malaga I intend to stay 3 or 4 days instead as there's effortlessly enough here to entertain you for that period of time.
So much taking place in Alicante
I was a little worried Alicante might have been filled with British ex pats but to my relief it wasn't. My first port of call was the Santa Barbara Museum in the top of Mount Benacantil. The castle seems to dominate the city and can be seen from miles away. El Barrio was an excellent location for us young individuals to obtain with each other and party the night away. The Spanish really know how you can party, not leaving their houses till after midnight! They do not get drunk either like the British which creates a truly good environment.
