To be amongst the trending things is our motto and it is not bad considering it gives us what we want, social recognition. The way we spend our money for all those goody things we forget how it affects our environment. Our environment is the last thing we bother about. We leave lights and fans on in our room when not in use. For us it means nothing but carbon footprints we leave because of such silly things are on an all time high. I realize this when I read an article wherein it was mentioned by Mr. Sudhir Moravekar that leave the world a Better place you lived in.
I still remember the way which I use to put on these things which consumed electricity. I didnt mind paying the bill as I was earning a good salary but coz of this attitude I was polluting the environment. I never realized or you can say that I never tried to realize it. Other things like keeping mobile charger on even when it is not required. In todays modernization everything can be remotely controlled, only if those things are powered on. It is the only reason which I could be sure of the rising carbon emission. The other common example which I can give is of television. We all watch television and ever since the remote control came into existence, we never watch a channel for long time. Even when we get bored or when we go to sleep we shut the television from remote. We are shutting the TV but not the power. The power consumption goes on and I can be sure in many of our houses the power supply to the television are never interrupted. We never see that but it consumes more and more units, ultimately it all relates to the growing concern of carbon commission.
I thought a lot about this. It doesnt stop here. I can give many more such examples. The common thing which we all do is to keep our engine started when we are not driving. I, myself do it a lot but now since government raised the fuel price, Im sure that most of us would turn off their engine when not in use. You wont even believe that your cooking also emit carbons which are harmful. The ideal way to cook is to cover the dish you are cooking as this would save much of the energy thus fewer carbons are emitted. You might be wondering why such things are written and above all who is Mr. Sudhir Moravekar who has bought such a huge change in me. He is not my friend or a person I personally know. He is the chairman of Panoramic group of companies. The group that manages company likes Panoramic Universal Ltdand Pancard clubs limited. He was quoted saying that leave the world a better place than the one you living in.
