Some of these, like the one found at Carenage Bay, near to the town of Harvey Vale, are composed of black volcanic sand, whereas others, such as Anse La Roche, are classic white sand beaches.

Petite Martinique
Petite Martinique is the third-largest island in the group that makes up the nation of Grenada. It is very small and only has a population of 1,000 people. Tourist facilities are available, but they are limited. The best way to visit this island is from Carriacou. There are a few places to eat and a few pleasant beaches, but it is not the sort of place you want to stay for too long. However, a trip here will allow you to see a place not many have a chance to experience.
