Find sponsors with big transaction sizes..
NOT T SHIRT COMPANIES
A T shirt sells for $20 so its hard to make their money back
You want BIG TICKET SPONSORS
You COULD go after T shirt companies but why go after the same companies everybody else is when its MUCH EASIER to find companies that will PAY YOU MORE
And the best part is these are companies that NO BODY knows about.. so there's LESS COMPETITION!
Step 3
Talk to your potential sponsors about what THEY want and how you can HELP THEM do it
( here's a hint*** they want to STAY IN BUSINESS
AND MAKE MORE MONEY )
Meaning if you were talking to a company about selling $25,000 cat aquariums.. youd talk to them how sponsoring your would sell more aquariums for them
Because if they sponsor you for $1000 and that leads to them making one sale..Now you've made them 25,000 and THAT is what they want!
So for example
If two fighters want sponsors..
Fighter A builds his fanbase to 10,000 fans
Fighter B doesn't
Fighter A approaches company who can AFFORD to pay him bank
Fighter B approaches 20 dollar T shirt companies
Fighter A talks to these big ticket companies about how his 10,000 fanbase can MAKE THEM MONEY
Fighter B talks about how great of a fighter he is and his dream to fight and train MMA full time but doesnt say how the COMPANY will benefit
Who do you think will get more sponsors?
