The tube is full of interesting characters and nowhere near as scary as it has been made out to be. Once you have your commuter head on you will be able to navigate the underground stations like the back of your hand. With buses, river boats and taxis all readily available there is no excuse for not exploring this endless city.

Contrary to popular belief there is plenty of greenery to be enjoyed in London. Whether it is relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of Hyde Park or enjoying the scenery in Kew Gardens, you can easily drift away. With plenty of open air concerts and festivals taking place throughout the year, who says city life has to be stressful?

Families will be in their element in London, proving that it is not just hipsters and city bankers that can make themselves at home in the capital. With plenty of schools, playgrounds and activities to enjoy, living in London opens childrens eyes to the wonders of the world. Animal lovers can take in the exotic beasts at London Zoo or perhaps play it safe with a trip to Hackney City Farm. With so much to do, it might be time to start planning your weekends in advance!
