Panchakarma is an Ayurvedic therapy that is very effective in the purification and detoxification of human body. Panchakarma comprises of five therapies - Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti and Raktamoskshana. Followed in series, these five therapies have proven their effectiveness in the removal of toxins that cause stress and other illnesses. Panchakarma also balances the doshas - energies governing all biological function.

According to a study of Institute of Science, Technology and Public Policy at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa in association with a special laboratory at Colorado University has revealed that Panchakarma treatment removes up to 50 percent of the detectable toxins in the blood.

Vamana - Emesis Therapy

Vamana removes Kapha toxins - accumulation of excess mucus- from the respiratory tract and the body. Kapha causes different problems such as Bronchial Asthma, Chronic Indigestion, Nasal Congestion, Chronic Allergies, Hyperacidity, Edema, Obesity, and skin disorders. Vamana helps in getting rid of all disorders caused due to Kapha.

Pitta toxins cause rashes, skin inflammation, vomiting, nausea, chronic attacks of fever, and jaundice. Virechana is considered as a safe procedure that efficiently cleanses the gastro-intestinal tract.

Basti (Enema or Colonic Irrigation)
