subject: Srs Residency Project: What All Led To Project Development In Greater Faridabad? [print this page]

Out of all the satellite townships sharing borders with Delhi, it is Faridabad which is the lowest priced even though it lies enroute to the famous tourist destination of Agra, is closes to the posh South Delhi area and is also an old industrial township. Greater Faridabad, the new area currently undergoing planned development, is attracting the investments from real estate developers due to a number of favourable factors. SRS Residency Faridabad is one of these projects which have been initiated by the SRS group due to the following advantages offered by the geographic location:

1.Distance from Aashram square in Delhi is 20 kilometres. And, from the Delhi border at Badarpur, the distance of the project is only about 8 kilometres. Considering that there is development of flyways bypassing the traffic jams of red lights, these distances are easily covered.

2.Greater Noida is also close by as it is only about 15 kilometres away. It will be connected to Greater Noida in the years to come by an expressway which will further ease the movement, reducing the time taken to travel to the industrial and residential centres of Greater Noida.

3.Gurgaon seems to be a bit far off in comparison when the distances are considered but it actually takes almost the same time as reaching the Ashram square. The Millennium City is at a distance of 35 kilometres but this distance can be covered in a time period of one hour under normal traffic conditions since there is good road-based connectivity through the mountains to this city.

International airport is also close by. For people willing to go to the airport, taking the route of Badarpur-Mehrauli is very time consuming and tiring but this stretch from Greater Faridabad-Gurgaon via mountainous route is easy to travel.

4.NH-2, which is called by the famous name of Mathura Road, also runs close by and it lies at a distance of only 5 kilometres from the SRS Residency project. Further, in between the project location and the NH-2, there is a bypass lane which connects Badarpur border with the Ballabhgarh industrial township and helps in cutting off the traffic rush of the main NH-2.

Despite the already existing good connectivity linkages to different near by cities, there is further development of infrastructure such as new roads and expressways, over-bridges, flyovers, widening of roads and metro rail linkage which are further going to drive the growth of this region as the future requirements of infrastructure will be duly met with the completion of these projects.

With real-estate prices ruling lower than in the other parts of the NCR region which have already seen considerable development, there has been a boom in demand for the various project units such as SRS Residency which offer affordable housing to the people.
