Businesses which are planning for the future, or the present, have plans to improve customer reach for the service or product. The strategy that a business follows to help them reach potential customers is called a marketing strategy. In recent years marketing strategies have involved the latest technology which can help in lowering marketing costs. One of the most effective marketing strategies which has been included in business marketing is outbound telemarketing.

Inside sales oroutbound telemarketing is the marketing procedure which includes a sales person coming into direct contact with the customer to whom he introduces himself, the company from which is he calling, and, most importantly, explains about the product or service so that a customer may decide to buy it. In short it a sales man finds a potential customer or tries to woo customers who will buy the product.

Telemarketing has been introduced as a marketing strategy because it is an effective means of educating customers about the new services or products available in the market; it is considered to be one of the fastest means of advertising and also saves costs on traditional advertising methods such as on TV, radio, pamphlets etc. Telemarketing uses web conferencing or telephoning customers and allows the salesperson an opportunity to explain the product they are calling about. This type of marketing has created a niche and is now leading the world with large numbers of office sand sales departments set up.

CATEGORIES OF TELEMARKETING:
