subject: Different Kinds Of Bail Bonds [print this page]

There are so many people who are familiar with the word bail bonds and some even have experience with this term. On the other hand some people are unaware with that there are different kinds of bonds used to get people out from jail. Basically the bail bonds are law enforcement agencies and they help those people who are arrested. It is the way of ensuring that if the arrested person releases before the trial of their case, they will be present in all the proceedings at which they are required. Mostly these bail bonds are determined by the court. Here are the most commonly consulted and used bail bonds in the industry.

The first one is Surety Bond. This type of bond is also referred as bail bond. It is the most common used bail bonds in the industry. A bail agency is like a bail bond for a person and charge a non refundable fee that is usually 10-15% of the total bond amount or depending on the state. This will help you to get released from the jail. Whenever a person pays for the bail bond services, he/she is required to sign into a contract and a promise that he/she will attend their scheduled court date.

The second one is Property bond. There are some situations when a person has been arrested for a major matter and the bail amount is very high. So in such cases everyone has not enough cash to pay for the bail, then they will pursue with the property bond. In this one has to put up the rights to high-priced personal aids such as house, land, businesses, cars, and anything else which is having kind of parallel value to the bond. When they appear in the court and complete their hearings, after that they will get their property back safely.

And the third one is Being Released on Citation. The very small crimes, such as j-walking, will be arrested with a citation release. In this case the police officer will write a person a ticket on the spot, and they usually have to call a number or go to the courthouse and pay a small amount of money as a fine. It helps to avoid the over-crowding in the local jails.

Bail bond services help the one who get arrested and have to stay in the jail till he/she is not called by court. Basically they provide a contract to the court to ensuring that the arrested one would appear in the court.
