Perhaps you have breath analyzed or drug tested your employees? New information by the Queensland University of Technology suggests that it could be recommended. It concluded that 58% of people who were questioned were drinking alcohol at what is regarded as a hazardous level, while 15% were at risk with medical concerns. A third of people surveyed confessed to using ecstasy or amphetamine substances in the earlier 12 months and 18% admitted to utilizing marijuana. But the most stressing component of all this is that majority of those interviewed didn't have a comprehensive knowledge of the consequences of drugs and alcohol on security of the work place.

The analysis demonstrates that a national education process should be set-up to battle the challenge in the construction industry. Now in the state of Victoria, WorkSafe supplied 60 development notices to residential construction companies in Melbournes east last week. As a whole, over 100 businesses were inspected, and 58 improvement notices were released a week ago, demanding organizations to handle health and safety breaches.
